Note: You can also search by Image ID or Artist Name in the same area.
Use one or more keywords to define a search using the words: and, or, and not as separators. Think of the most simplistic keywords to describe exactly what you are looking for. If you still don't see what you quest, then think of alternate words to describe the subject matter.

Using My Account
Registering is easy and only takes a few moments. You may search across the BlueMoon Stock site without registering, but to use our Lightbox features, price calculator, purchase and download images, registration is required. We do not sell, share or divulge any of your personal information that is stored as part of being a registered user. To find out more, read our privacy policy.
Once you have registered, you can use the username and password you created to sign in to the BlueMoon Stock Images website. When you are signed in, you can then use your lightboxes, purchase and download images and footage clips, and access your account information.
To sign in to the BlueMoon Stock Images website
1. Click the Sign in link at the top-right of the page.
2.On the Sign in page, type your username in the Username box.
3. Type your password in the Password box.
4. Click Sign in.
If you are having difficulty signing in, please check the following:
*Your username is spelled correctly, and you've correctly entered your password.
*The caps lock is off (both username and password are case-sensitive).
*Your browser is set to accept cookies
If you are still having difficulty signing in, close your browser. Then open a new browser window and try again. Feel free to contact us if you continue to experience difficulties or have forgotten your password.
If you've forgotten your password, you can retrieve that information through our website.

2. From the Sign in page, enter your email in the Username box, click on Forgot password?, under the Password box.

Note:
The email address must be the same as the one you entered when you registered, or the one currently in your profile if you updated it.
Once you've completed the registration process, you can modify your account information at any time by clicking My Profile. From this page you can view or update personal details, mailing information and billing information.
Note:
Once you have registered, you cannot change the username for that account. If you want to use a different username, you must create a new account by registering again and using the new username.

Lightbox Features
About Lightboxes
Lightboxes allow BlueMoon Stock users to keep track of images they like and/or plan to purchase. Upon registering, you were given one Default Lightbox, (“My Lightbox”). This is where all images will be sent by default when you choose to add them to your Lightbox. However, you can create, delete and modify as many Lightboxes as you wish after Registering. See the Creating a Lightbox, Deleting a Lightbox, and Adding Images to a Lightbox sections of this Help File.
Creating a Lightbox
To create a new Lightbox, click on "Create New" at the bottom of the web page. A small window will pop up asking you to name your lightbox. You may also add additional information specific to this lightbox, such as Client name, Project name, and Notes
Deleting a Lightbox
To delete a Lightbox, click on "My Account" in the Navigation Bar at the top of any BlueMoon Stock page., click on "Lightboxes". Next, choose the Lightbox you wish to delete from the list under "Lightboxes / Names". Finally, click on the "Delete" button, to the right of the Lightbox Name you wish to delete.
Adding Image to a Lightbox
To add an image to one of your Lightboxes, you must first choose which Lightbox to add the image to. If you have not created any, your image will be added to your default Lightbox. After selecting the appropriate Lightbox, simply click on the " 
" icon under the image thumbnail. You can repeat these steps and add as many images to as many Lightboxes as you wish.
To view the Lightboxes after adding images to them, simply click on "Lightbox" in the Navigation Bar at the top of any Media Bakery page, then select which Lightbox to view.
Removing Images from a Lightbox
To remove an image from one of your Lightboxes, you must first choose which Lightbox to remove the image from. After selecting the appropriate Lightbox, simply click on Remove, next to the image thumbnail. You can repeat these
Opening an existing lightbox
You can axcess any existing lightbox by simply going to the bottom of the web page and choosing the lightbox name from the puldown tab, or you can choose My Account from the top of the page and click on lightboxes, then click on the specific lightbox name in the list.
Downloading images from a lightbox
Simply click on any image in the chosen lightbox or the preview button next to the image that you wish to purchase and download. You will be directed to the product page for that image. You can then choose your image size/price or calculate the usage price for that image, add it to your cart and follow the instructions for purchase and downloading.
E-mailing a Lightbox
At some point you may wish to have someone else view the contents of your Lightbox. This can be accomplished by e-mailing the link to your Lightbox to a friend or business associate. To share your Lightbox, do the following.
First, click on "Lightbox" in the Navigation Bar at the bottom of the page. Choose the lightbox you would like to email from the drop drop down menu and click on "E-Mail a Lightbox". At this point you will be asked to fill in some information regarding the recipient of the Lightbox, as well as any note you wish to send along with the Lightbox. after completing the form, click on "Send Lightbox". Your Lightbox will then be sent. You can repeat these steps to send a Lightbox to as many people as you wish.
Renaming a lightbox
First, click on "Lightbox" in the Navigation Bar at the bottom of the page. Choose the lightbox you would like to email from the drop dropdown menu and click on "Rename Lightbox". At this point you will be asked to fill in some information regarding the new name you would like for the Lightbox, as well as any note you wish to attach to the Lightbox. After completing the form, click on "Save Lightbox". Your Lightbox will then be saved with the new name and corresponding information..
Go to My Account from the top of the web page and click on lightboxes, then click on the specific lightbox name on the list. This will open your specific lighbox were you can see all the images inside of it. To print a contact sheet, press the Print Contact Sheet link.
Licensing Explained
When an image is bought from BlueMoon Stock, the buyer purchases the right to use that image in a particular way. This is called a licence and we offer two types:
Royalty-free (RF)
Rights Managed (RM)
Represented on the search system by Royalty-Free License (RF). Royalty-Free products may be used by you multiple times for multiple projects without incurring additional fees. Royalty-free pricing is based solely on the file size of the product you need and the number of people entitled to use it (maximum 10), not the specific use. You don't have to pay any additional royalties on a use-by-use basis. However, as with all BlueMoon Stock Images licenses, the rights granted are non-transferable and are personal to you. Royalty-free licenses are always non-exclusive. All licenses of royalty-free products are subject to BlueMoon Stocks' Royalty-Free End User License Agreement (EULA)
Represented on the search system by Rights Managed License (RM). Rights-managed products are licensed on a use-by-use basis. The fee for using the product is calculated from several factors including size, placement, duration of use and geographic distribution. At the time you order a rights-managed product, you will be asked to submit information that will specify the usage rights to be granted. You can use our price calculator or contact a sales representative to determine an exact price. Exclusive rights are available for purchase for some rights-managed products. All licenses of rights-managed products are subject to BlueMoon Stocks’, Rights-Managed End User License Agreement (EULA).

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE OF IMAGES.
THIS IS A LEGAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND BlueMoon Stock, Inc. (HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS "BlueMoon Stock"). BY DOWNLOADING ANY MEDIA AND/OR SOFTWARE FROM OUR WEBSITE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, PROMPTLY CLICK ON YOUR BROWSER'S BACK BUTTON ON THE WEBSITE TO DECLINE THIS AGREEMENT.
IF YOU ARE ENTERING INTO THIS AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF YOUR EMPLOYER, THE LICENSE GRANTED AND RESTRICTIONS AND LIMITATIONS RECITED HEREIN APPLY TO YOUR EMPLOYER AS WELL AS TO YOU AS A REPRESENTATIVE OF YOUR EMPLOYER. SHOULD YOU CEASE WORKING FOR YOUR EMPLOYER, YOUR EMPLOYER MAY CONTINUE TO OPERATE UNDER THIS AGREEMENT.
ROYALTY-FREE END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT
GRANT OF LICENSE
There may be low-resolution comping images (the "Low-Resolution Digital Media") and/or high-resolution images (the "High-Resolution Digital Media") and/or software (the "Software") that are part of each internet download (collectively referred to as the "Licensed Material"). BlueMoon Stock grants to you and your employer, if you are licensing on behalf of your employer, a non-exclusive, non-sublicensable right to use and reproduce the Licensed Material solely to the extent explicitly stated in this Agreement. The Licensed Material may not be shared by creating a disc library, Digital Media storage jukebox, network configuration or similar arrangement and you may not create a network of servers, either with or without a central location, which enables others to share the Licensed Material. You may not utilize the Licensed Material in any manner that is not expressly permitted in this license agreement. All rights not specifically granted above are retained by BlueMoon Stock. One copy of the Licensed Material may be made for backup purposes only, but may be used only if the original Licensed Material becomes defective, or is destroyed or otherwise irretrievably lost. Except as specifically provided in this license agreement, no Licensed Material may be shared or copied. Software may be used only in conjunction with the Digital Media.
The Low-Resolution Digital Media may be used in materials for PERSONAL, NONCOMMERCIAL use and TEST or SAMPLE use, including COMPS and LAYOUTS. The Low-Resolution Digital Media may not be used in any final materials distributed inside of your company or any materials distributed outside of your company or to the public, including but not limited to, advertising and marketing materials or any online, broadcast or other electronic distribution system (except that you may transmit comps digitally or electronically to your clients for their review) and may not be distributed, sublicensed or make available for use or distribution separately or individually and no rights may be granted to the Low-Resolution Digital Media.
The High-Resolution Digital Media may be used on a worldwide and perpetual basis as a part of:
1. ADVERTISING and PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS (including packaging);
2. ONLINE or other ELECTRONIC DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS (including web page design) and BROADCASTS or THEATRICAL EXHIBITION
3. ANY PRODUCTS (including for-sale products) or PUBLICATIONS (electronic or print); and materials for PERSONAL, NONCOMMERCIAL use and TEST or SAMPLE use, including COMPS and LAYOUTS.
No High-Resolution Digital Media may be sublicensed, resold or otherwise made available for use or distribution separately or detached from a product or web page. For example, High-Resolution Digital Media may be used as an integral part of a web page design, but may not be made available for downloading separately or in a format designed or intended for permanent storage or re-use by website users. Similarly, clients may be provided with copies of High-Resolution Digital Media (including digital files) as an integral part of work product, but may not be provided with High-Resolution Digital Media or permitted to use High-Resolution Digital Media separately. Use of the High-Resolution Digital Media, or any part thereof, as a trademark or service mark, is not permitted. Pornographic use, use which would be defamatory or libelous absent the consent of the model or use which is otherwise unlawful is prohibited. If High-Resolution Digital Media featuring a person is used in a manner that implies endorsement, use of, or a connection to a product or service by that model, or a potentially unflattering or controversial subject, you must print a statement which indicates that the person is a model and is used for illustrative purposes only.
You may not include the Licensed Material in any electronic template or application, including those which are web-based, where the purpose is to create multiple impressions of an electronic or printed product, including but not limited to, website designs, presentation templates, electronic greeting cards, business cards or any other electronic or printed matter.
Restrictions. BlueMoon Stock may at any time during the term of this Agreement notify you that certain Images are no longer available for use under this Agreement and upon such notification, the license granted by BlueMoon Stock shall automatically and immediately terminate. Your sole remedy for any recalled Image shall be, at BlueMoon Stocks' sole discretion, the replacement of such recalled Image with another Image or refund of any license fee paid attributable to such recalled Image. BlueMoon Stock cannot anticipate all possible uses of an Image, either alone or in combination with other material that you, or you on behalf of your client(s), may make. You are solely responsible for the use of any Image in combination with any other material. Without limitation, Images may not be utilized:
1.as a trademark or service mark
2.for any pornographic, unlawful purpose or use
3.to defame any person
4.to violate any person's right of privacy or publicity
5.to infringe upon any copyright, trade name, trademark, or service mark of any person/entity
6.for uses covering sensitive subjects including, without limitation, topics that may depict the subject matter of an Image in a negative or unfavorable light or subject persons to ridicule, and topics regarding all sexual issues, substance abuse, physical or mental abuse, alcohol, drugs, tobacco, AIDS, cancer, or serious physical or mental ailments, or the disparagement of a person or product.
Additional Rights Available: If you are unsure of your usage rights under this agreement, contact BlueMoon Stock, Inc.
WARRANTY
BlueMoon Stock warrants the Licensed Material to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 90 days from delivery. The sole and exclusive remedy for a breach of the foregoing warranty is the replacement of the Licensed Material for refund of the purchase price, at BlueMoon Stocks' option. BLUEMOON STOCK MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Some states do not permit the exclusion of implied warranties, and you may have other rights which may vary from state to state. NEITHER BLUEMOON STOCK NOR THEIR LICENSORS SHALL BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY OTHER PERSON OR ENTITY FOR ANY GENERAL, SPECIAL, DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR OTHER DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THIS LICENSE OR OTHERWISE.
GENERAL You may not decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or otherwise reduce to human-readable form any Software contained in this download. All rights to the Licensed Material are owned by BlueMoon Stock and/or their Licensors and are protected by United States copyright laws, international treaty provisions and other applicable laws. BlueMoon Stock and its Licensors retain all rights not expressly granted by this agreement. The Licensed Materials are licensed only to you or your employer if you are licensing on behalf of your employer. However, this license agreement and the license to use the Licensed Material may be transferred to another person or legal entity if the following conditions are met: you, or your employer if you are licensing on behalf of your employer,
1.transfer the Licensed Material without keeping or storing any copy,
2.do not to utilize the Licensed Material in the future in any manner,
3.transfer this physical agreement to the transferee; and
4.the transferee agrees to be bound by the terms hereof.
The license contained in this license agreement will terminate automatically without notice from BlueMoon Stock if you or your employer if you are licensing on behalf of your employer, fail to comply with any provision of this license agreement. Upon termination, you, and your employer if you are licensing on behalf of your employer, must immediately
1. stop using the Licensed Material,
2. return the Licensed Material and all copies of all of them to BlueMoon Stock, and
3. delete any Licensed Material and all copies of all of them from all magnetic media and destroy all other copies, or upon request of BlueMoon Stock, return all such copies to BlueMoon Stock.
Use of the Licensed Material must be in compliance with all applicable law, including, but not limited to, laws and regulations relating to currency and the law of moral rights. BlueMoon Stock reserves the right to discontinue the use of any Licensed Material for any reason and elect to replace the Licensed Material with an alternate Licensed Material. Upon notice of any discontinuance of a license for a particular Licensed Material, you, your employer and your client if applicable, agree not to use such Digital Media in the future. Licensed Material are "Restricted Computer Software" and when provided to or for or used on behalf of, the United States of America, its agencies and/or instrumentalities ("the U.S. Government"), are provided with "Restricted Rights." Use, duplication, and disclosure by the U.S. Government is subject to restrictions as set forth under the United States copyright laws, this agreement and as provided in DFARS 227.7202-1(a), and 227.7202-3(a) (1995), DFARS 252.227.7013(c), FAR 12.212(a) (1995), or FAR 52.227-19(a)-(d), as applicable.
BlueMoon Stock, Inc. Rights-Managed End User Image License Agreement (EULA).
THIS IS A LEGAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN LICENSEE, PURCHASER (IF ANY) AND A SUBSIDIARY OF BLUEMOON STOCK, INC. ("BLUEMOON STOCK"). THIS AGREEMENT APPLIES TO LICENSES ISSUED VIA THE WEB AND VIA LOCAL SALES REPRESENTATIVES, AND IS APPLICABLE TO ONLINE, DIGITAL AND ANALOGUE (PHYSICAL) DELIVERY OF LICENSED MATERIAL (THE "AGREEMENT").
1. Definitions. In this Agreement the following definitions apply:
1.1 "Invoice" means the computer-generated or preprinted standard form invoice provided by BlueMoon Stock or an authorized distributor setting out terms agreed with the Licensee. The Invoice shall be incorporated into this Agreement and all references to the Agreement shall include the Invoice.
1.2 "Licensed Material" means any still image, film or video footage, audio product, visual representation generated optically, electronically, digitally or by any other means, including any negatives, transparencies, film imprints, prints, original digital files or any Reproductions thereof, or any other product protected by copyright, trademark, patent or other intellectual property rights, which is licensed to Licensee by BlueMoon Stock under the terms of this Agreement. Any reference in this Agreement to the Licensed Material shall be to each individual item within the Licensed Material and also to the Licensed Material as a whole.
1.3 "Licensee" means the person or entity purchasing a license hereunder or if there is a separate Purchaser, the person or entity specifically designated as Licensee during the purchase process and set forth as such in the Invoice.
1.4 "Purchaser" means a person or entity purchasing the license hereunder on behalf of a third party Licensee.
1.5 "Reproduction" and "Reproduce" mean any form of copying or publication of the whole or a part of any Licensed Material, via any medium and by whatever means, and the distortion, alteration, cropping or manipulation of the whole or any part of the Licensed Material and the creation of any derivative work from the Licensed Material.
1.6 "Rights and Restrictions" means the information: (i) accompanying the Licensed Material on the BlueMoon Stock' website (including all areas of the purchase process); (ii) in the Invoice; (iii) in the editorial feed; or (iv) in any other written communication accompanying the Licensed Material. Such restrictions may include, without limitation, the permitted scope of use, any territory or other use restrictions applicable to the Licensed Material selected, and the corresponding price for the license of such Licensed Material. The Rights and Restrictions shall be incorporated into this Agreement and all references to the Agreement shall include the Rights and Restrictions.
2. Grant of Rights & Restrictions.
2.1 BlueMoon Stock grants to Licensee a non-exclusive, non-sublicensable and non-assignable right to use and Reproduce the Licensed Material identified in the Rights and Restrictions, solely to the extent explicitly stated in this Agreement. This right may be exercised by subcontractors of Licensee (including Purchaser) for preparation of the final product for the licensed use, provided that such subcontractors agree to abide by the terms of this Agreement.
2.2 Use of the Licensed Material is strictly limited to the use, medium, period of time, print run, placement, size of Licensed Material, territory and any other restrictions specified in the Rights and Restrictions. Licensee may utilize the Licensed Material in any production process that may be necessary for the intended use specified in the Rights and Restrictions.
2.3 While efforts have been made to correctly caption the subject matter of the Licensed Material, BlueMoon Stock does not warrant that such information is accurate.
2.4 Pornographic, defamatory or otherwise unlawful use of Licensed Material is strictly prohibited, whether directly or in context or juxtaposition with specific subject matter.
2.5 Licensed Material shall not be incorporated into a logo, trademark or service mark.
2.6 Licensee may not make the Licensed Material available in any medium in a manner intended to allow or invite persons to download or extract the Licensed Material.
2.7 Licensed Material may not be modified, reconfigured or repurposed for use in any mobile-directed web sites or mobile applications that are specifically created for viewing of Licensed Material on mobile devices, without obtaining the prior written consent of BlueMoon Stock.
2.8 Unless otherwise authorized by applicable law or specified in the Rights and Restrictions, Licensee may not, directly or indirectly, Reproduce the final product of the licensed use in any secondary Reproductions, such as compilations or screen shots. Such Reproductions require an additional license from BlueMoon Stock and may be subject to payment of additional license fees.
2.9 Licensed Material shall not be used contrary to any restriction on use that is provided to Licensee prior to or at the time the Licensed Material is delivered to Licensee. Such restrictions may be included in the Rights and Restrictions or in any other written communication from BlueMoon Stock. Any such restriction provided to Licensee shall be incorporated into and become part of this Agreement.
2.10 Where Purchaser is licensing Licensed Material on behalf of a Licensee, Purchaser hereby represents and warrants that: (i) Purchaser is authorized to act as an agent on behalf of Licensee and has full power and authority to bind Licensee to this Agreement; and (ii) if Licensee disputes Purchaser's power and authority to act on behalf of Licensee with respect to this Agreement, Purchaser shall be bound and liable for any failure of Licensee to comply with the terms of this Agreement. Nothing in this Section 2.12 shall serve to excuse Purchaser's obligation to make payment to BlueMoon Stock for the Licensed Material.
3. Photo Credit and Intellectual Property.
3.1 Copyright. No ownership or copyright in any Licensed Material shall pass to Licensee by the issuance of the license contained in this Agreement. Except as expressly stated in this Agreement, BlueMoon Stock grants Licensee no right or license, express or implied, to the Licensed Material.
3.2 Trademarks. In connection with the use of "BlueMoon Stock" or any other of BlueMoon Stock' trade names, trademarks, logos or service marks ("Marks"), Licensee acknowledges and agrees that (i) BlueMoon Stock' Marks are and shall remain the sole property of BlueMoon Stock; (ii) nothing in this Agreement shall confer upon Licensee any right of ownership in BlueMoon Stock' Marks; and (iii) Licensee shall not now or in the future contest the validity of BlueMoon Stock' Marks.
3.3 Notice of Violations. Licensee will immediately notify BlueMoon Stock if it becomes aware or suspects that any third party that has gained access to the Licensed Material through Licensee is wrongfully using the Licensed Material, in whole or in part, or is violating any of BlueMoon Stock' intellectual property rights, including, but not limited to, Marks and copyrights.
4. Warranty and Limitation of Liability.
4.1 BlueMoon Stock warrants that: (i) it has all necessary rights and authority to enter into and perform this Agreement; (ii) the Licensed Material will be free from defects in material and workmanship for thirty (30) days from delivery (Licensee's sole and exclusive remedy for a breach of this warranty being the replacement of the Licensed Material); (iii) Licensee's use of the Licensed Material in its original form, and when used in accordance with this Agreement, will not infringe on any copyrights or moral rights of any person or entity.
4.2 NEITHER BLUEMOON STOCK NOR ANY LICENSOR MAKES ANY OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE LICENSED MATERIAL OR ITS DELIVERY SYSTEMS, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. NEITHER BLUEMOON STOCK NOR ANY LICENSOR SHALL BE LIABLE TO LICENSEE OR ANY OTHER PERSON OR ENTITY FOR ANY PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIALOR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES, COSTS OR LOSSES ARISING OUT OF THIS AGREEMENT, EVEN IF BLUEMOON STOCK OR ITS LICENSORS, AS APPLICABLE, HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, COSTS OR LOSSES. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT PERMIT THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR LIABILITY FOR CERTAIN CATEGORIES OF DAMAGES.
5. Indemnification.
5.1 Provided Licensed Material is only used in accordance with this Agreement and Licensee is not otherwise in breach of this Agreement and as Licensee's sole and exclusive remedy for any alleged or actual breach of the representations and warranties set forth in Section 5 above, BlueMoon Stock shall defend, indemnify and hold Licensee and its parent, subsidiaries and commonly owned or controlled affiliates and their respective officers, directors and employees harmless from all damages (except punitive damages not directly attributable to acts of BlueMoon Stock), liabilities and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and permitted and authorized costs) arising out of or connected with any actual or threatened lawsuit, claim or legal proceeding alleging that BlueMoon Stock is in breach of its warranties set forth in Section 5 above. The foregoing states BlueMoon Stock' entire indemnification obligation under this Agreement.
5.2 Licensee shall defend, indemnify and hold BlueMoon Stock and its parent, subsidiaries and commonly owned or controlled affiliates and their respective officers, directors and employees harmless from all damages (except punitive damages not directly attributable to acts of Licensee), liabilities and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and permitted and authorized costs) arising out of or as a result of claims by third parties relating to: (i) Licensee's use of any Licensed Material outside the scope of this Agreement; (ii) any other actual or alleged breach by Licensee of this Agreement; or (iii) Licensee's failure to obtain any required release.
5.3 The party seeking indemnification pursuant to this Section 6 shall promptly notify the other party of such claim. At indemnifying party's option, indemnifying party may assume the handling, settlement or defense of any claim or litigation, in which event indemnified party shall cooperate in the defense of any such claim or litigation. Indemnified party shall have the right to participate in such litigation, at its expense, through counsel selected by indemnified party. The indemnifying party will not be liable for legal fees and other costs incurred prior to the other party giving notice of the claim for which indemnity is sought.
6. Condition of Licensed Material.
Licensee should examine all Licensed Material for possible defects (whether digital or otherwise) before sending any Licensed Material for Reproduction. Without prejudice to Section 5.1.(ii) above, BlueMoon Stock shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by Licensee or any third party, whether directly or indirectly, arising from any alleged or actual defect in any Licensed Material or its caption or in any way from its Reproduction.
7. License Cancellation Fee.
If Licensee or Purchaser requests in writing to cancel this Agreement within thirty (30) days of the date of receipt by Licensee or Purchaser of the Licensed Material, and such Licensed Material has not been used by Licensee, BlueMoon Stock may cancel this Agreement and issue a credit to Licensee's or Purchaser’s account or credit card in an amount up to one hundred percent (100%) of the license fee minus a composite/layout fee that will be charged at BlueMoon Stock’s then standard rate. Nothing in this Section 8 shall apply to research, lab, service fees or administration fees which shall be payable according to the terms stated on the Invoice and shall be non-refundable.
8. Interest or Cancellation on Overdue Invoices.
If Licensee fails to pay BlueMoon Stock' Invoice in full within the time specified in the Invoice, BlueMoon Stock may add a service charge of one-and-one-half percent (1.5%) per month, or such lesser amount as is allowed by law, on any unpaid balance until payment is received. BlueMoon Stock also reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to revoke the license if payment is not made in full on time.
9.Miscellaneous Terms.
9.1 Unauthorized Use. Any use of Licensed Material in a manner not expressly authorized by this Agreement or in breach of a term of this Agreement constitutes copyright infringement, entitling BlueMoon Stock to exercise all rights and remedies available to it under copyright laws around the world. Licensee shall be responsible for any damages resulting from any such copyright infringement, including any claims by a third party. In addition and without prejudice to BlueMoon Stock' other remedies under this Agreement, BlueMoon Stock reserves the right to charge and Licensee agrees to pay a fee equal to up to five (5) times BlueMoon Stock' standard license fee for the unauthorized use of the Licensed Material.
9.2 Audit/Certificate of Compliance. Upon reasonable notice, Licensee shall provide sample copies of Reproductions containing Licensed Material to BlueMoon Stock. In addition, upon reasonable notice, BlueMoon Stock may, at its discretion, either through its own employees or through a third party, audit Licensee's records directly related to this Agreement and use of Licensed Material in order to verify compliance with the terms of this Agreement. Where BlueMoon Stock reasonably believes that Licensed Material is being used outside of the scope of the license granted under this Agreement, Licensee shall, at BlueMoon Stock' request, provide a certificate of compliance signed by an officer of Licensee, in a form to be approved by BlueMoon Stock.
9.3 Electronic Storage. For all Licensed Material that Licensee takes delivery of in electronic form, Licensee must retain the copyright symbol, the name of BlueMoon Stock and the image number or other identification number associated with the Licensed Material as may be included as part of the electronic file containing the Licensed Material that is stored on Licensee's computers. Licensee may not make additional high-resolution copies of the Licensed Material and Licensee shall maintain a robust firewall to safeguard against unauthorized third-party access to the Licensed Material. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Licensee may make one (1) high-resolution backup copy of the Licensed Material for security purposes only. Upon the expiration or earlier termination of this Agreement, Licensee shall promptly delete and remove the Licensed Material from Licensee's premises, computer systems and storage (electronic or physical) and shall ensure that its subcontractors do likewise.
9.4 Withdrawal. Upon notice from BlueMoon Stock, or upon Licensee's knowledge that any Licensed Material is subject to a threatened or actual claim of infringement, violation of another right, or any other claim for which BlueMoon Stock may be liable herein, or if BlueMoon Stock withdraws any Licensed Material for any good reason, Licensee will physically remove the Licensed Material from its premises, computer systems and storage (electronic or physical) and, if possible, cease any future use at its own expense. BlueMoon Stock shall provide Licensee with comparable Licensed Material (which comparability will be determined by BlueMoon Stock in its reasonable commercial judgment) free of charge, but subject to the other terms and conditions of this Agreement.
9.5 Governing Law. This Agreement will be governed in all respects by the laws of the State of California, U.S.A., without reference to its laws relating to conflicts of law. Any disputes arising from this Agreement or its enforceability shall be settled by binding arbitration to be held in the State of California, U.S.A. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not govern this Agreement. Notwithstanding the foregoing, BlueMoon Stock shall have the right to commence and prosecute any legal or equitable action or proceeding before any court of competent jurisdiction to obtain injunctive or other relief against Licensee in the event that, in the opinion of BlueMoon Stock, such action is necessary or desirable.
9.6 Severability. If one or more of the provisions contained in the Agreement is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable in any respect, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. Such provisions shall be revised only to the extent necessary to make them enforceable.
9.7 Waiver. No action of either party, other than express written waiver, may be construed as a waiver of any provision of this Agreement. A delay on the part of either party in the exercise of its rights or remedies will not operate as a waiver of such rights or remedies, and a single or partial exercise by either party of any such rights or remedies will not preclude other or further exercise of that right or remedy. A waiver of a right or remedy on any one occasion will not be construed as a bar to or waiver of rights or remedies on any other occasion.
9.8 Entire Agreement. This Agreement contains all the terms of the license agreement and no terms or conditions may be added or deleted unless made in writing and signed by an authorized representative of both parties. In the event of any inconsistency between the terms contained herein and the terms contained on any purchase order sent by Licensee, the terms of this Agreement shall govern.

What is a release?
A model release or property release is a written agreement between the model or property owner and the photographer where the model or property owner has granted the photographer permission to use the photographs commercially. Releases generally permit the use of the image(s) for all purposes, with exceptions for controversial, sensitive or defamatory uses. However it is your responsibility to decide if a model and/or a property release is necessary for their intended image use.

When viewing the details of an image there is a section called releases. This shows if the image has release forms that are available or not. If yes is displayed, and you wish to obtain a copy of the release, please contact our sales team who will obtain the release. Please allow BlueMoon Stock up to 5 working days to perform this request.
